We're still trying to figure out what our slogan should be. I think right now we've landed on "Our games, your home". It ties together all branches of our mission. From sending fan favorite games and cards across the world from our shop to your home to providing a friendly venue for customers to use as if they were playing games on their own kitchen table.
I'm Meredith, by the way. I'm the new Customer Communications Coordinator here at Nutmeg (:
I started back in February/March of 2021, but I've lived in the New Milford area for my whole life. I remember when this place was still a Hallmark store, where I bought all my Webkinz. And just down the street was a Gamestop where I spent my allowance.
It's so weird to think how long ago that was, but it's still so solidly clear in my memory.
I like to imagine that Nutmeg Games will be that kind of memory to the customers we get today. I can only hope that all of you can think back to when you learned how to play a trading card game here with your friends or that one time that you came in with your siblings and they bought you your first set of dice for your upcoming tabletop role-playing game.
And to our customers who are parents; whether you're here to show off your interests to your young ones or to buy something you know nothing about, but know that your kid would love, it's something I enjoy to see as an employee here. I think your kids find it pretty cool too.
